This is a friendly, classic spot in the midst of the Baltimore Inner Harbor zone. We saw locals and tourists inside the brightly lit, clean seating areas (in addition to a well-peopled bar). Our corner booth was cozy, and the big menu had selections for everyone (although a bit limited for vegetarians). The drinks were fresh, and house-made cocktail wasn?t sweet or syrupy. You can go for high-end, pricey seafood items or not; having for the special chef?s made crab cakes, I
Food was average. Service was slow. We wanted patio seating but even with a reservation we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. There were empty tables outside. Seems odd that they had wait staff to serve us at the most terrible table in the restaurant but couldn’t seat us outside.
A Must-Stop Seafood Spot in Baltimore – Phillips Seafood If you're visiting Baltimore, especially around the Inner Harbor, make sure to stop by Phillips Seafood after a fun day of exploring the bay or checking out the aquarium. This place is perfect for wrapping up your outing with a delicious seafood feast! They offer a great selection of fresh, flavorful seafood—crabs, shrimp, oysters, you name it! Whether you're a crab lover or just looking to try something new, you'll find plenty of options here. One of the best things is that you can choose between dining inside the restaurant or enjoying the outdoor area. We chose the outdoor side, and it was so much fun! It’s casual and lively, and they’ve thought of everything—even hand-washing faucets nearby so you don’t have to worry about getting messy with the crab. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for hanging out with friends or family. Just a heads up—it can get a little hot in the summer, but honestly, the great food and harbor views make up for it. We had a blast and will definitely be back. Come hungry and enjoy the Baltimore crab experience at Phillips Seafood! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Definitely a little overpriced, but what would you expect right at the inner harbor. Food was very good and service by Ruslan was exceptional. We were looking forward to the crab cakes and they didn't disappoint. Soft shelled crab sandwich was excellent. Restaurant was not busy at all. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
