Description

Nestled in midtown Baltimore, the bubble tea establishment offers a charming ambiance filled with snacks and games. While some patrons delight in its authentic tea flavors and diverse snack selection, service consistency proves to be a concern. The boba's texture has received mixed reviews; while some find it enjoyable, others note it lacks the desired chewiness. Occasional service lapses and issues with product availability detract from the overall experience. Despite its potential, customers urge for improvements, especially in service quality, to match the vibrant atmosphere this spot aspires to create.

I would not recommend this establishment at all. This was my first time visiting the store and it was a complete disappointment. I arrived at 5:25pm and the person behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me before walking away. I waited for her to return so I could order a morning glory tea, only to be told they didn't have any teas because the person who makes them wasn't there that day. How can a bubble tea store not have any teas available? When I pointed out that their closing time was supposed to be 8pm, as stated on the sign outside and online, I was simply told that they were closed. It was a very unpleasant experience and I am only giving one star so I can leave this review.

The cashier seemed more interested in her phone than taking our order, and we weren't given the option to adjust the sugar level in our drinks until I saw her ask the customer behind us. I also purchased around $20 worth of snacks to enjoy there, but she scanned them and left them on the counter without acknowledging us. She then served our drinks and moved on to the next customer without a word. The service definitely needs improvement. Additionally, the boba for everyone's drinks was just sitting in a bowl without a lid, which made me question the cleanliness of the place. The boba itself was a bit watery for my taste, but I would be willing to give it another try and possibly order one of their hot dishes. In short, the service was lacking, the boba was mediocre, but I appreciated the variety of sweet bread, Pocky, and other Asian snacks offered at the restaurant.

I was eager to give this restaurant a try, but I was disappointed to find that the boba was quite expensive in relation to the portion size and quality compared to other boba shops. I could detect a noticeable powder taste in my drink. However, the staff members were very friendly.

This is a nice bubble tea place with good options right in midtown. They typically have some good food choices and they have East Asian snacks for sale as well. All in all l, an excellent place for tea or a quick noshFood: 5/5

HH tea is my go to bubble tea shop I enjoy in the Baltimore area. The drinks are handled properly and it's not too sweet. They are more authentic when it comes to their flavors and they have more of a tea flavor than fruity drinks. If that's the case you can just ask for extra syrup
