First of all, I was ready to rate this place 5 star and I haven't even gotten their food! The place is a local family owned restaurant, the bathroom is filled with amenities like free pads and tampons and lotion, hand sanitizer, air freshener. The staff were so friendly, the owners themselves approached us how we're doing. Patrons here were also friendly! Now for the food. The food was as great as the place itself! M... View all feedback.
I ordered sticky wings with awesome fries. I picked the pulled chicken instead of pulled beef. The fries were soooooo good. Not what I need when I'm trying to lose weight. Lol The wings were cooked well. I loved the cilantro and green onions. They gave the food a different taste. I was expecting the sticky wings to have more flavor aside from the cilantro and green onions. It was still good. The apple bread pudding wasn't the best. It taste the best with apples, but the piece I had only seemed to have one apple. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they gave me a certain time frame to pick up my food. I got there a few minutes after that time and then had to wait another 15-20min because my food wasn't ready.
I finally made it to Breaking Bread, a place I’ve had on my ‘must-visit’ list for a while, and I’m glad I did! I ordered the Jerk Turkey Lamb Burger, and it was quite enjoyable. I also tried their self-proclaimed Famous Sticky Wings, but I found the burger to be much more impressive. The wings were decent but nothing out of the ordinary — I wouldn’t say they were bad, just average. I’m definitely open to giving them another try on my next visit. I took the leftovers home since I finished my burger and didn’t have room for more. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a great spot for a quick lunch. I have to mention that their Red Velvet cake looked delightful. I was being a good husband and didn’t indulge, but when you do, please enjoy a slice for me!
Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, incredibly kind and charming service. This place has so much character and is a gem. The service isn't always super fast but there's a lot of pride in their family-owned restaurant and in their food (did I mention the food is delicious? . If you don't drop by, you're missing out.
We had a fantastic lunch experience today! Our friendly server served us homemade tortilla chips and a sample of their award-winning sticky wings while we waited for our meal—so good! The Turkey Burger was outstanding, and both the Roast Beef Cheddar Panini and the Bacon Cheeseburger were delicious. The chipotle potato salad was top-notch, and the Chef’s homemade Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake was divine! The best music videos played in the background, creating a great atmosphere. Overall, this was a wonderful choice for my husband and me to meet our son. A big shout-out to Chef Tyree and the excellent service from Jabril! If you're in Baltimore and haven't already, you need to check out this friendly, eclectic, and very chill restaurant soon!
Perfect place in Pigtown! Young, black professional employees and chef! Garlic Parm fries, the famous sticky wings 14 count, and the soup of the day (Friday) was Turkey, kale, and potato soup. Perfect!
