When we arrived the manager was working at the hostess stand and let us know that they were running behind and it would be a while past our reservation before we could be sat. We waited over an hour for a table, but we enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. Once sat, the service was terrific, and the food was delicious. We all had different choices, and no one was disappointed. I was nervous that the food would not be good on a big holiday with a prix fixe menu, but I was completely wrong. I didn't get her name, but the manager who was working that night did a fantastic job of handling frustrated guests. I will definitely return

When we arrived, the manager was working at the hostess stand and informed us that they were running behind schedule, so it would be a while before we could be seated. We waited for over an hour for our table, but enjoyed some drinks at the bar in the meantime. Once we were seated, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Each of us had different dishes and everyone was pleased with their choice. I was initially worried that the food might not be up to par on such a busy holiday with a prix fixe menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although I didn't catch her name, the manager on duty that night did a great job handling the frustrated guests. I will definitely be returning to Bar Vasquez.
