Atwater's, a beloved marketplace in Belvedere Square, impresses diners with its superb coffee and charming atmosphere. While the menu features limited vegan options, highlights include the delightful iced lavender latte and commendable vegan dishes like the Veggie Rueben and Vegan Chili. Many patrons laud the quality of breakfast items, including omelets paired with home fries. Food and drinks came out in a timely manor, but were way overpriced-even for brunch. Somehow, two cocktails, two plates, and a side of bacon were over 70. Got sticker shock for sure when the total came up versus what I had seen pricing-wise on themenu. Food was okay but not worth that much . A downside was that I ordered my eggs over medium (which they said they woulddo) and they came out liquified with even the whites being runny. An upside was that they did not skimp on the avocado on mymeal. Most places give like 2-3 slices but my meal came with, what seemed like, an entire avocado. Will definitely go back, butmaybe just for coffee and some pastries instead of a whole meal. Also, be aware that majority of their seating is outside. Soplan to be sitting outside when you go.
We went in to have breakfast like we?ve done for many years. The table we choose was dirty and covered in syrup. My husband asked for a rag to get the syrup up. The worker at the counter (who wasn?t fulfilling any orders) pointed to the sanitationwipes. I asked for a rag because?syrup. She never got it but my husband was able to clean up the table with the wipes. I was soturned off we decided to leave. Although the food is good , it?s too expensive to deal with dirty tables and poor customerservice.
I was here for breakfast with my pastor. This is a really nice little spot. The food is great. The possibilities are endless with the build your own breakfast. The service is fast, and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be returning in thefuture.
There are very few vegan options available at this restaurant, with the exception of their desserts and coffee. I used to enjoy the meals when I was vegetarian, but they always took a long time to prepare. However, I still rate them highly because of their amazing coffee. My favorite is the iced lavender latte with oat milk, which I have yet to find elsewhere with the same delicious taste.
