I pulled in to get an order to go. Was greeted by a screaming kid running around out of control. Ordered Menudo and a taco to the tune of $15.50 minus tax and tip. Sat there and listened to all the foul talk about the videos they made and and every other word was the f-bomb.When my food was ready they put the soup in a 32 ounce cup and when I took the lid off it was less than half full. The staff here is so nice! We've been enjoying Don Luis Cafe in Baird for many years and it never disappoints. The food is good of course but the thing that makes them stand out to me is a total dedication to great service!Good Job! You're excelling in an area most all others are failing!
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! Tonight, I tried the grilled chicken, which was very tender but could use a bit more seasoning. I really loved how they added the paprika, sliced into thin pieces—such a nice touch! The refried beans were fantastic as well! I'm not particularly fond of the corn, though. On the bright side, the midnight sangria was absolutely delicious and has become my new favorite drink!
The waitress was incredibly helpful with her suggestions, and the food was both hot and delicious.
We absolutely love this restaurant near Abilene! Dining here is a fantastic experience, and the staff is wonderful. We highly recommend it!
