Been walking past this place for last few years and ignored stopping for food. This year, went ended up going twice...restaurant busy every night...Tapas choice is excellent, food very tasty, service ok, reasonably priced
We were possibly the only non Spanish customers this evening which for us is one sign of a great restaurant when eating abroad. It's mad busy, the staff work extremely hard and fast but at the same time it's a relaxing place to eat. The food was excellent. The teens enjoyed calamares and bacalao with chips even though getting them to eat seafood at home is always a challenge! We also had sole and tuna steak. Be warned that the €6.00 for the sole and other fish is the price per 100g, the whole fish cost €19.50 but it was delicious and worth every cent. The added bonus was a stunning sunset visable from our table. We arrived at around 9pm and got a table straight away but any later could result in a long wait for a table. Definitely worth a visit.
Busted this place last year and pleased to say food is just as good again this year. A very good selection of tapas meals. This is a large establishment so always guaranteed a seat
Every time we go to Isla Canela our first stop is always La Bocana. The fried fish, chilled shrimp, Galician octopus and everything else is absolutely marvelous!: The food is all fresh and is prepared extremely well! The service is quick and pleasant and the prices are very reasonable.
Great location and very helpful owner …..visited on our last night in Isla Canela. Highly recommend a visit to a very friendly restaurant. My wife had fresh tuna and I had fresh swordfish both beautifully cooked. Hadn’t visited Spain in 23 years and loved this area as very low key and not over commercialised…also main tourists in this area appeared to be Spanish and French. Everyone we met were very friendly
