Description
**Discovering Pho Please: A Mixed Culinary Experience**
Pho Please offers a lively dining adventure on Riverside, featuring enticing dishes like delectable bao buns and appetizing egg rolls. While many patrons rave about the generous portions and quick service, some find certain items, especially the children's menu, lacking flavor. The pho is generally well-received, though opinions diverge on its richness and spice levels. Diners appreciate a variety of options, including vegan and meat dishes, all within a cozy, clean environment. Despite occasional inconsistencies, the warmth of the staff and the vibrant atmosphere keep guests returning for a comforting meal.

Walked in and realized that you ordered first and then sit wherever you’d like which was different but not in a bad way. My cashier was really nice and helpful in regard to questions with the menu, and my food was great, came out quickly and was exactly what I asked for. I like the idea of it being a fast casual restaurant, like they give you a plate of veggies and such for your dish but if you’re looking for more, then there’s a station where you help yourself. There’s also utensils and everything else at the table itself so it’s efficient in a way where you don’t have to bother others for things you need while being able to enjoy your food. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It's counter serve only; no waiters. Shrimp rolls were fine, but pho broth was very oily and tasted of excess soy sauce. The flank was too fatty, more like brisket. I would not recommend this place for true pho connoisseurs. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
While the service was great and restaurant was nice and clean, the pho fell short. I ordered the Pho Please (which had all the meats in it) and the broth was bland even after adding the sauces, lime, and herbs, and the tái was tough and took me awhile to swallow. The other meats were good though and dipping them in hoisin and sriracha made it even better. The spring rolls and Thai tea were also good. I didn’t order the egg rolls, but I was disappointed when I saw that they give you sweet and sour sauce with it instead of nuoc cham. They do have a bottle of pure fish sauce at their self service sauce bar, but it just makes it less authentic. It was expensive too and I wasn’t expecting to pay $43 (not including tip). I grew up in Houston so my expectations for Vietnamese restaurants are high. I would skip this place and head to the Vietnamese restaurants in North Austin. The main reasons why I came here was because I’ve been craving pho for a couple of days since the weather started getting cold and it was the most convenient option on the way home from class and it had a rating of 4.5 stars. I usually order either a pho or a lemongrass vermicelli. Both are good and offer great value for the price. I also enjoy the interior design of the place and it seems the staff keep it clean at all time
Great pho, great portions, great ingredients. The preparation was fast, and everything tasted good even with take out. I liked the bean sprouts! The soup was bland and not super rich. I had better bowls of pho and this one didn?t blow my mind. Perhaps, having it in store would have been better. Price was good! Recommended and will come back for the other dishes!
