A special place both indoors and out. The patio is large and made special with live oaks but the indoors with large windows allow for special vibe also. Casual food with quality ingredients. Friendly service. My Mother’s Day brunch was perfect!
John was our waiter and it’s been so long since I have gotten such an amazing service! Like good old days when the person is personable with you, helps you with the choices, accommodates and has fun along with you. Me and my fiancé actually celebrated our second anniversary and could not wish for a better experience!Place is nice. Patio simple but romantic and cute. Food was amazing! Drinks too !!! Will be back for sure !
4 star because ambiance, patio vibes is a 5 and food is 3.5 although a great option for happy hourAmbiance is a winner here! The large patio, string lights, fans, surrounding greenery, colorful benches umbrellas make Fresca's a vibe. The indoor is just as fun with a lively aesthetic Happy hour is $2 off margs and select appetizers. I tried the frozen prickly pear and jalapeño margaritas which were both great for basic cocktails. A few friends found them too sweet but you can ask to adjust the sweetness which is nice. We also ordered the chicken flautas for happy hour which were OK at bestNot on the happy hour menu, I thought the queso was rather addicting and churros with dulce de leche amazing! The whole chicken was actually smaller than we expected (it does not feed 4 so we ordered another. The chicken was pretty tasty but no longer hot when we received it and they described the Yucatan chicken as spicy which honestly wasn't spicy Would I come back? For sure! The patio is everything and I can always use a marg with some churros : We did have to wait 1.5 hours and the parking lot is rather small so plan ahead if you can!
Enjoyed everything about this place. The food was excellent, and really liked how each meal had a bit of everything. The sides of grilled sweet potatoes, beans and rice were excellent. The patio was a great atmosphere with the large trees and lighting. Prices were reasonable for quality of food. Will definitely visit again when back in Austin.
