Possibly the best restaurant I've found since moving to Austin. Relaxing atmosphere and of course the chicken is absolutely a must to order, whether on a salad or as a platter. Happy hour prices for apps and drinks will make you smile. Excellent service from someone who cares was also appreciated. Get there at the start of happy hour or make a reservation to get a seat as it fills quickly. Limited parking so you may have to street park.

The only downside was our interaction with the hostess who seated us. We had a reservation for an indoor table at 5:30 PM, and the restaurant was far from crowded. The hostess made it a point to inform us that the next reservation for our table was at 7:15 PM, insisting we wrap up by then. This was an unusual experience for me in any dining setting, and it felt rather unfriendly and unnecessary. If this is a common practice, I would recommend reevaluating it. Despite this, we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Fresa's.
