Was Eric at The Drafting Table a mag?
Great service and great food. The General Manager Stephanie came out to see us and was extremely knowledgeable about her staff and food. The bartenders Michelle, Eric, and Charity suggested amazing drinks I really liked. Definitely my new favorite spot. View all feedback.
What Renee B dislikes about The Drafting Table:
I've been to the bar a couple of times for dinner and cocktails, for my money, I prefer Ray's, next door. It's a nice place, pretty but dated architecture. I feel the restaurant management needs to make more of an effort, in terms of quality control for the food and staff. The food is hit and miss, I've been disappointed enough not to eat here when I stay, although the fettuccine Alfredo was good last time I stayed a... View all feedback.
Fantastic restaurant! The service was outstanding, from the hostess to the bartenders. The food was delicious, and the prices matched the quality and portion sizes. The place was very clean and had a lively atmosphere. Service was prompt but not hurried. Interestingly, the bar was at table height for guests, while it was sunken for the bartenders, making it very comfortable to enjoy drinks!
One of the finest dining experiences in Atlanta! The beef tortellini is absolutely delightful, and the indigo burger is expertly crafted. The service is prompt, attentive, and welcoming. Located within the Hotel Indigo, the ambiance is both elegant and cozy. I highly recommend it! Food rating: 5/5
On my first night, I ordered the Conchiglie Alla Pomodoro pasta, which was delicious. During my second visit to The Drafting Table, our server Danny was friendly and attentive to our needs. We began our meal with the Spinach Mozzarella Stuffed Mushrooms, accompanied by marinara and roasted garlic. However, I was disappointed to find that the mushrooms were devoid of any stuffing—just small portobello mushrooms with a tiny amount of cheese, possibly with some spinach. The mushrooms themselves were tasty, and the generous amount of marinara sauce on the plate was delightful. For my main course, I chose the Roasted Chicken Piccata. While it had the potential to be fantastic, it was lacking the essential lemon piccata sauce—there wasn’t even a hint of lemon or capers. The chicken breast was roasted as described, served bone-in, and came atop a generous portion of sautéed spinach. My friend ordered the Lemon Pepper Wings, which she seemed to enjoy, especially with the extra marinara from the stuffed mushrooms. Overall, I believe there is definitely room for improvement in the kitchen at The Drafting Table.
Beautiful bar. Unfortunately service was god awful, Ronald was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. After manually up-charging every drink for mixers he called the manager over because “we weren’t closing out” on our check that he put in front of us less than 5 minutes before. Not to mention how he treated two women next to us, after taking their drink orders and then failing to bring them a drink told them he had done last call and wouldn’t serve them. The hotel indigo is too nice of an establishment to have such terrible staff.

I feel the restaurant management needs to make more of an effort, in terms of quality control for the food and staff. The food is hit and miss, I've been disappointed enough not to eat here when I stay, although the fettuccine Alfredo was good last time I stayed at Indigo. I only tried it because the bartender promised it was the best thing on the menu. The quality of cocktails depend on the bartender du jour, I had the worst Old Fashioned ever one night and the next night, a different bartender (who recommended the Alfredo) made one perfectly.
