Krystal - Atlanta
Krystal
Description
Several reviews for a Krystal restaurant were mixed, with some customers expressing dissatisfaction with their experiences. One customer received undercooked chicken and poor service, while another found onions in their burger despite specifying an allergy. Additionally, a patron complained of greasy food and feeling sick after dining at the establishment. However, there was a positive review from a customer who enjoyed the shrimp option, hot food, and efficient service. Despite the mixed feedback, some customers found the food and service to be satisfactory.

I’m puzzled because I’ve been eating at Krystal about twice a week for eight years, but I haven't visited this location in a while. When I ordered a 12-count cheese with no onions, the staff member told me that the burgers are made with onions and that all they could do is scrape them off. Unless they’re using frozen patties from the grocery store, they should be cooked on the flat iron. No other Krystal location has ever given me this excuse... I’m done with it.
We ordered tater tots and paid for them, but when we received our order, we found fries instead. When I asked to exchange them for the tots, the employee informed me that they were out of them. As for the quality of the food, it was greasy, and I ended up feeling nauseous and with an uncomfortable bubbling in my stomach. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I was warmly greeted by a light-skinned girl with facial tattoos who took my order accurately. The food was fantastic! The grits were smooth and spot-on. The restaurant was clean, and everything was just perfect.
I visited the restaurant hoping to order a sausage bowl, but I wasn't informed until I had waited for at least 30 minutes that they had run out of grits. I ended up asking if I could choose something else instead. I noticed that the woman preparing the food didn’t seem to be wearing gloves, which was concerning. Additionally, while I was waiting patiently, she refused to give me an apple pie. Moreover, there were a lot of homeless individuals in front of the restaurant and at the bus stop, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. To top it off, I couldn’t even use the restroom because someone had taken the key, and I didn’t see any signs indicating where it might be accessible.
I would give zero stars if I could. There was a line outside and another inside, but the girl at the front wasn't taking any orders because she was on the phone during her shift. They really need to close the Krystal's in this area. Despite us asking her to hang up and help us, she continued with a long conversation. I'm sure Krystal's lost around $5,000 in that hour alone due to frustrated customers leaving.
