Couple small service hiccups when we first sat down but the rest of the night was smooth. The scuppernong sour cocktail is right up my alley and it was delicious. Good old fashioned too. Looked like a good wine list and though it's not a great place forbeer, they had ok options in bottles/cans for a very reasonable price. The food was great. Bacon wrapped shrimp was maybe alittle tough but tasted good and the sourdough was excellent. I got the chicken schnitzel and it was perfectly fried with somevery tasty accoutrements. My wife got the mushroom gnocchi and that was also fantastic. The decor inside feels a bit like beingin a hotel business center but I'd gladly enjoy that meal in a drafty shack.

I loved the ambiance and vibes of this place — it was something out of a movie with a very quiet outside area, but as soon as you pass the 90s-esque grunge windows, you enter into a wonderfully large space. The seats were nice, and each area was dividedinto rooms, along with a small curtain separating your table from the main walkway. The initial bread was given, and the oliveoil carried all the wonderful flavor, I wish the bread was warm, however, and that would’ve made it easier to chew. I did notlike my drink very much (Dressed to Kill , so I would probably get something else, or nothing at all. I also thought it wascreative to create celery bitters, but the drink (Body Double was not my cup of tea either. The Brussel Sprouts were verytasty, although I wish there was some flaky sea salt sprinkled on top as garnish. The meals were quite nice! The ChickenSchnitzel was very flavorful and paired excellently with the apples and ricotta. The Braised Lamb Gnocchi was excellent! Thegnocchi was so pillowy and fluffy and the sauce and lamb was absolutely to die for. After a while, I thought the dish became alittle too salty for my liking, but I have been told I am sensitive to salt so that was probably it. All in all, I loved bothdishes. The Gateau Victoire and Strawberry Hand Pie were excellent desserts. Would highly recommend whatever variation of handpie being served because the flavors are there and it is uniquely in its crispy shell. I love a flourless chocolate cake and theGateau Victoire was no exception. Loved the combination with the whipped cream. Yum! Now some cons: The cushioned seats werecomfortable, yes, but provided no lumbar support and were at an almost 90° angle. Hard to find a comfortable resting incline. The servers were pretty nice, however the service was a little slow. I imagine it’s due to a shortage in servers (pay servershigher!! , but our server was extremely kind and thoughtful and we were celebrating so the Gateau Victoire was

Lovely setup and atmosphere. Wanted to complain about the steak (see picture), but waited for more than 30 minutes and the server never showed up (he showed up finally when I was writing this review but he just briefly checked the nearby table andwent away).

Excellent food and service! Ellie was our server. Great job! We ordered the octopus and crab so so good! I had pasta and my husband had the bass.

The food was absolutely amazing, but the service left a lot to be desired. When the staff found out it was our first time dining there, they didn’t offer any descriptions or recommendations. Additionally, they were very slow to check in on us. Everyone in our group ordered an appetizer, entree, and dessert, so we weren't being shy about trying different dishes. Unfortunately, there were missed opportunities for upselling. It seems like management either isn't training the staff properly or isn't ensuring they maintain high standards. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for me.
