What User doesn't like about Tobermory Handmade Chocolate:
I would like to give a higher rating, but we bought a selection of their chocolate and, honestly, they taste pretty cheap. really not very well made in comparison to a really crowded field of high-end chocolate animals really raise the bar. even a direct comparison with the oban chocolate company is not favorable. read moreTucked away in a charming location, this delightful chocolate shop offers a tempting array of treats, including unique shapes and artisanal creations that captivate visitors. While the ambiance is enticing, with warm aromas and friendly service, some customers noted a lack of innovative flavors among the chocolates, which tended to focus heavily on traditional options like salted caramel. Allergies could be a concern due to cross-contamination practices. Despite minor drawbacks, many patrons rave about the quality of the chocolates, praising them for their artistry and taste, with some declaring them comparable to, if not better than, high-end Belgian chocolates.
Visited twice on our visit to buy gifts for family. A little pricey but as expected for handmade chocolate. Friendly staff and Covid safe
The displays were extensive and so much to choose from. I eventually found a wee gift for my friend with lovely chocolates inside. The tin will be handy too.
Really delicious chocolates but about as pricey as you'd expect for a seafront chocolatier! Worth the spend for a small treat
