I decided to stop here for a quick lunch break and it turned out to be possibly the best lunch in Scotland. The view overlooking the harbor and the colorful buildings of Balamory made the experience even more special. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the prices were really reasonable. The food was delicious, but paying £9 for a half baguette seemed a bit steep for a meal during a trip to T in the Park. The fish and chips, however, were absolutely fantastic. View all feedback.
Had the Haddock for lunch while waiting for the ferry. Absolutely terrible, thick batter and almost no fish. Our friends had fish soup with no fish. We were told chef always puts fish in but we saw no evidence of it. Would go somewhere else.
Great chowder- had it twice. Once for late afternoon warmup after cruise to Staffa. So good, lunch the next day. Friendly staff.
