We asked to the reception of the hotel if we could have dinner at their res... read more We arrived at 8:15 PM asking for a table (2 people, well dressed, clearly tourists). We asked to the reception of the hotel if we could have dinner at their restaurant. She immediately asked if we were staying at the hotel, and as we said “no”, she quicky dismissed us telling us to ask to the restaurant. Not very nice introduction to the hotel. We then moved to the restaurant area (5 steps away), where we were welcomed nicely, but as soon as we said that we were not guests, the mood changed radically, and we were told that there was no space. I made the young lady notice that there were (at least) 4 free tables, while the restaurant was fully up and running and plenty of people. She just said “no, we are too busy” and again, dismissed us without any further explanation. Clearly, this people doesn’t know how to deal with potential customers, and don’t understand the value of a decent, basic service, which includes smiling and being welcoming to people who are not staying at your hotel, as they will probably be your customers the next time, if you do a decent job. I would NOT recommend wasting your time coming here to eat at their restaurant if you are not a guest, as you will be rejected. Since the above, I would not recommend going here at all, as the level of the service is clearly way below average.
