This is definitely one of my favorite spots in town. I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, but they offer a wide variety of options, and those dishes are truly delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Java Warung:
The food is good, but the service is somewhat unusual. They actually watched me eat and took my plate right out of my hands. I’m not a fan of that kind of service. View all feedback.
There?s not a lot options in Appleton for Malaysian. Perhaps this is the only one and they do a pretty job. Our family went for dinner and the kids really enjoyed the unlimited soup that came with our meal. Some items were pretty pricey because we were told they were imported from Malaysia. All in all a good spot to get you a sense of Malaysian food or satisfy your cravings for the time being until you can make it Atlanta.
Kroket was delicious. The sesame balls are homemade. The avocado salad was fresh and ripe. I'm very impressed. Everything was delicious.

You definitely need some time to settle in when you come here... and a bit more time to place your order. It takes a little while for your food to arrive, but it’s totally worth the wait. They offer several vegan options, all of which are delicious. Occasionally, you might get soup, other times maybe eggs... I’ve never had the same dining experience here twice, and I actually enjoy that.
