The menu is quite extensive for a... read more This is the best Indian restaurant in the Fox Valley! We were recommended this place by a friend and we were not disappointed. The menu is quite extensive for a smaller restaurant, with great prices and large portions. We started with vegetable samosas and a few beers, which came with three different dipping sauces. The red sauce was my favorite, as it had a nice kick to it. The samosas had a crispy outer pastry and were filled with deliciousness. The lamb bhuna was $12.95 and the chicken tikka masala was $11.95, both served with a generous portion of white rice. We had enough to take home for lunch the next day, and it tasted even better reheated. The dishes can be ordered mild, medium, or spicy, but even the spicier options were quite tame in flavor. The restaurant used to offer a lunch buffet, but it was not available when we visited, possibly due to COVID-19 restrictions. The parking lot is shared with other businesses in a strip mall, but there is plenty of close parking available. There is an Indian grocery store next door if you want to recreate a dish you loved. The restaurant itself is a bit outdated with carpeted floors, but it adds to its charm, and the dining room was spotlessly clean.

My first time here wasn't that great of an experience and I felt it was time to give this place another try. I'm glad that I did! I ordered the chicken Makhani with basmati rice and Darbar special naan. Everything was delicious! I went with medium Makhani this time; so much more flavor than the mild that I had last time I was here. The chicken and sauce were cooked perfectly! The special naan was also very good; White Bread stuffed with Onions, Potatoes, Cheese and Baked in Tandoor! My experience this time was wonderful! I look forward to returning and trying some of their other dishes!
