No one at the front desk....wait staff (I think there were 2 people working for the entire place) came up to the desk to grab things but never even acknowledged us being there. After 10 minutes of juststanding up front (with more and more people coming in) we left. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Appleton, I'm sorry to say the service has gone way down hill.

Super attentive staff, great food, and wonderful ambiance. So glad I got the chance to stop. Only one little comment on the sushi roll, it could have been pressed a little harder. Just didn't hold it's shape as well as I wouldhave liked, but was delicious as is.

I also tried the sweet and sour chicken and that was bad would not recommend getting that my wife had the makeyour own bowl with gr chicken and she said it was really good. I'd be willing to try again but careful with what I order

Revision: Still love this place! My wife and I have been going to Gingerootz for over 12 years and have always loved it. There have only been a couple of times where we weren't blown away. Tonight was one of those nights, however, nobody is perfect. It is how you respond to a mistake or subpar quality that makes a difference.
