Reviews - Draft Gastropub
Reviews summary
Nestled in Appleton, The Draft Gastropub stands out with a remarkable menu that marries pub comfort with upscale cuisine. Diners rave about vibrant dishes—from Lobster Mac and Cheese to Bourbon Pub Burgers—each meticulously prepared and presented with flair. The bar impresses with creative cocktails like the hibiscus mule and expertly crafted old fashioneds. While service is mostly attentive and friendly, some patrons experience inconsistencies in food quality. However, the restaurant's inviting ambiance and attentive management more than compensate for occasional missteps. For an enjoyable culinary adventure, The Draft promises an experience worth savoring.

Excellent restaurant!! We’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The pretzel crusted haddock bourbon salmon are both delicious! We just recently celebrated our anniversary here, the atmosphere is really nice. What jugdish wackerly dislikes about Draft Gastropub:
I’ve come to the conclusion that people in Appleton are used to mediocre food. Third time wasn’t a charm. Cold app’s, Luke warm service and over cooked entree’s. Paid our bill and place was empty. We sat and chatted for 20 plus minutes and no return of waitress for water or other drinks. Won’t return. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.

We had a great experience at Draft tonight! Service was quick and friendly, and the food was amazing as always. The Chardonnay-lobster scallops were delicious and the presentation was 10/10. My boyfriend had the featured seabass and the Draft Old Fashioned. Always a good winter date night spot. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Did not like the taste of some of the food. Disliked having cucumbers in my water. Did not like the flavor of their homemade ketchup. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Always amazing food and service. No exceptions. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. It’s a regular spot for us and will continue to be!
First time customer. Loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant! Had the Maryland crab and pimento dip for starters very good! Had the Draft prime burger with truffle fries for dinner large burger with a good amount of toppings and very tasty! Will be back! Service was great also!
My husband and I ate there for the first time last night, and it was outstanding! I don’t know if there’s enough positive adjectives to describe it. We happened to drive by and decided to stop in. We were originally told about a half hour wait, not too bad it was a Friday night and busy, but ended up waiting about 45 50 mins. Our waiter was fabulous, I don’t recall his name, but I remember he had a tattoo on his forearm. He knew the menu, was energetic, and very outgoing and talkative. I ordered the deep fried goat cheese appetizer if you are a goat cheese lover, it’s for you! It had a delicious honey drizzled over the veggies and fruit that accompanied it. For entrees we ordered the pesto chicken pasta and the special: Cajun surf and turf with a Kansas City strip and shrimp. The sauce for the pasta was ultra creamy, a little salty from the pecorino cheese, and a little sweet from the balsamic drizzle. I can’t speak personally for the surf and turf, but my husband just kept repeating ‘excellent’ between bites. Finally, I overheard the dessert offerings, and couldn’t pass up the creme brûlée. It was the best I’ve ever had! Super creamy, perfect caramelization of the sugar topping. I could’ve definitely had a second it was just that good! They have a very talented group of chefs behind the scenes. We will definitely return and bring family when they visit.
The evening was perfect! My family and I went out to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Matthew, was very good. Our food was good. I would eat there again for several reasons. The ambiance, the menu had so many wonderful choices, and the drink choices. The food was beautiful. And it is true, you eat with your eye first.

This place has been on my list for a while. We finally stopped for our anniversary, and I think we found our new spot for celebrations. Absolutely loved the poached lobster and Jumbo Scallops. The Calamari and wild berry margarita were also excellent. The staff was friendly and we sat very fast. A very fantastic evening!
I had a great experience! The food was delicious, it came out in a timely manner, and the restaurant was clean. Good drinks, too. I would come here again!
Just went to dinner here for the first time and we were beyond impressed with excellent food and incredible service! Really fun menu. Everything was prepared with great attention to detail and great flavor combinations. Casual yet special! We will definitely be back!
