The service was slow, and I found the staff to be unprofessional and dismissive. It seems like the needs of the employees take priority over those of the customers. Additionally, the place has a strong smell of smoke, especially when patrons smoke in the back.

I ordered the Tavern battere... read more We had been meaning to try this restaurant for years. Finally, we made it there today. Oh my goodness, the fish fry was incredible! I ordered the Tavern battered cod and my husband had the Walleye. Both dishes were delicious! The green beans with warm bacon sauce were also excellent. The service was impeccable. The restaurant starts to get busy around 4 pm. We will definitely be returning!
