I was worried and mentioned it to my friend,... read more We ordered pizza and when cutting a piece I noticed that the bottom of the pizza had a large density of black soot. I was worried and mentioned it to my friend, but he said that he had seen it before, so it should be good. Further down, however, I noticed that the soot quantity was so large that under a quarter of the pizza the soot completely covered the plate (see picture attached). At this point I brought it to the attention of the waitress. She thought it was totally acceptable and neglected my concern. Then I spoke to a waiter and he laughed at my concern and that they wouldn't do anything since I didn't make the complaint at the beginning, but that he would talk to the manager. The manager took the dish and took it to the kitchen and came back and said that it was normal so they did nothing else than offer coffee. In the meantime, they discarded the pizza on the plate without asking us what we wanted to do. We paid the whole amount minus the discarded part and didn't get coffee. The guests sitting next to us were annoyed by the interaction and told us that we were right at the complaint, but the interaction was unpleasant. At the same time, they said they refused to pay at all because the restaurant was wrong on the pizza. When we mentioned it to the manager, she doubled and told us if we wanted a refund, we should never be allowed to come back. She pointed out again that we should send the pizza back immediately. She refused to accept that as a customer we did not inspect the back of the food and that the place where the black soot covered the dish was below the last 2 pieces of the pizza so that we could not see it at the beginning. The whole experience was so unpleasant and rude.

I had the tuna and it wa... read more We were thrilled by our last trip to Alphitta for lunch. Dave and Tanja were so friendly and attentive (as we are the other employees). I had the tuna and it was the best tuna dish I ever had. The views are excellent. See you next year.
