La Breche - Amboise

Eat at restaurant while staying at hotel. The food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful understanding the menu. Menu is limited to providing full course meals.

We meet good friends here for one night -sat outside in the garden and had a beautiful meal. Every plate was presented as if for a magazine and the food itself was spectacular as well.

Cadre rustique et un peu vieux, mais la cuisine est bonne. Carte simple et limitee. Bon endroit pour une ou deux nuits, sans plus. Ne pas attendre une experience inoubliable.

As a pescatarian that does not eat shellfish and is bored with fish, I find it difficult to find food in restaurants in France that are not laden with cheese, cream or fried. La Breche understood my needs and created a wonderful symphony of flavours outside their daily carte that looked stunning in presentation and satisfied my taste buds. I would recommend anyone visiting Amboise to pay a visit to this unpretentious friendly little place with wonderful wait staff where any food requirement seems ' no problem'

Lovely hotel restaurant with a menu utilising local produce from the Loire region. Highly recommend.
