Cheng's Kitchen
Description
Nestled in a spacious lot with easy wheelchair access, this Chinese restaurant offers a mix of experiences. Many patrons praise the delicious, fresh food—especially standout dishes like spring rolls, shrimp toast, and teriyaki chicken—alongside attentive, prompt service. Vegetarian options abound, making it accessible for various diets. Safety measures and a well-organized takeout process have also been noted positively. However, some diners express disappointment with portion sizes and questionable meat quality, dampening the overall impression. While many consider it a top local spot, others caution that their expectations were not met, suggesting mixed reviews depending on individual visits.

I'm a jersey girl and I must say that loves Chinese fast food. This place has some of the freshest Chinese fast food I have tried in thr State of NJ. Always great food and service. They do not deliver and you can not eat in. Strictly Take Out. Parking on premises. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for awhile. So last night driving home I pasted Cheng's and thought I'd give it a try. Well it was delicious. I got chicken with cashews and there were a lot of cashews and vegetables. I can't wait to try other dishes Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The owners are very friendly and helpful if you have questions about the menu. Their food is fresh and made with out MSG. You know how sometimes your tummy hurts after eating Chinese food; well that doesn't happen with the food from this restaurant. My whole life I've pretty much stuck to a handful of items on a Chinese food take out menu, but at Cheng's The owners have helped me try new things and I've loved everyone I have tried. However there is only one table; it is extremely warm/ hot inside.
Purchased $50 in food and it was great right up until the second bite..when I was about to feed lo mein to my two year old and noticed this long metal strand in the food. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Needless to say we threw out all the food as a safety precaution Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
