We had a very rude server. He asked for our order so we told him the appetizer. Then he asked for our entrees and we said we are not ready yet. He abruptly sighs, turns his head, and walks away. I called after him a few times and he came back. I kindly asked does he need our entree order, he explained it would help the kitchen, so we ordered. Fino was an excellent Italian restaurant in Allendale NJ. The atmosphere was excellent, but make a reservation at weekends as it was packed, not a single free table inside or outside. Also this place is BYOB, which I love. I think BYOB are some of the best restaurants in NJ. You can choose your own wine and the bill will only be your dinner, not your drinks. The food is amazing, the pastas are great, the steaks and chicken was good, the only product that was dry that I tasted was the pig. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, this place is excellent for a couple who like to watch people or for a group of friends, small or large who want a great dinner and night out.
I had my daughter bride shower here last weekend, the food was delicious.. and the service was excellent! The owner was very accommodating... and helpful furnishing of our room. I recommend this restaurant!
Was on a Saturday part of a 15 person party around lunch. The service was friendly and the food was very delicious. Parking was difficult, but this is not the fault of the restaurant. The servers removed not empty dishes from our table fast enough and instead added new plates that made the experience a little unpleasant at times.
Food is very delicious. There is something on the menu for all. Take your time no rushing here. Reservations for 6 or more only. We visit often and always enjoy the night.
