While the veal was good, the portion was very small for a 33.00 plate. Also, not sure who was dicing tomatoes but they were very large chunks and somewhat flavorless. For dessert I got the cheesecake, which is somewhat of a staple of italian restaurants so I figured it would be freshly made. To my surprise I could tell it came from a box and probably frozen/thawed a few times. If you know that freezer burn/cardboard flavor it was quite prominent. My wife got Chicken Capricciosa and it was pretty good. She also got the fruit and cannoli cream dessert special, again this was good but I was quite shocked to find it cost 19.00! Yes, fruit can be expensive but for a dessert portion it was quite large (more than she could eat and the cost was unnecessary (smaller portion and less cost would have been better). We were not presented with a dessert menu but if we saw the cost up front we probably would have avoided it. As mentioned I've been here before and usually the food is good.
