What Houston Kovacek doesn't like about Restaurant L:
I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Finest food, nice employees, consistently great ambience. They charge affordable prices and the food quality is great. Kudos.
It's a local eatery that has a very large bar and a quieter dining room. The drinks are a little pricey, but they're definitely strong. The specials were good and so was their signature L burger. It was high quality food, just surprised about the pricing considering the location.
Poor food quality and very poor service as well. Not very friendly environment . I didn't enjoy it at all.
My family, especially my father, has loved Restaurant L for many years! They all treated my dad, Ted Kissel of Allendale, like family... love you all!! Thank you!!
