**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
This family-run restaurant offers a blend of unique dishes and traditional fare, but experiences vary widely. Some diners rave about standout items like the Beef Bihari and scrumptious masala fries, praising the friendly and professional service. Conversely, others report disappointing food quality, rude staff, and long wait times, with several items missing from the menu. While the atmosphere could use improvement, the restaurant's potential shines through in its occasional culinary gems. Overall, diners should approach with caution, as consistency in service and food quality appears to be a significant concern.

Found this place a couple months ago and found the bathroom disgusting enough not to step my foot in, somehow ended up here again a couple months later, guaranty you any money the bathroom only got worse and was never cleaned. Can only imagine what thekitchen is like, never again.
The food has strong flavors and tastes really fresh. They make almost everything from scratch and it shows. The people who run it are very friendly and will help you understand what to order based on what you like. We ordered falafel, masala fries, lambpatties and chicken Shwarma. It was all very delicious. Their sauces on the side are delicious as well. For those with lessadventurous tastes they have burgers and fries as well. We will definitely be back.
While exploring the Fox Lake area, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and my husband and I are so glad we did! The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka kabob, which was outstanding. We also tried the green chicken curry, and it was just as tasty. If you're looking to experience authentic Pakistani-Indian cuisine, you simply must visit this place. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Don’t forget to try their Karachi Limca—it's really refreshing!
Very delicious food!! Its my first time here and I love it!! They take their time in cooking it and that what makes it special!

We are all a big fan of the bihari kabob and paratha. The service is great but we mostly order it for to go. We have tries the chicken tikka as well as it was very delicious. Food: 5
Great food at a very reasonable price. The owners are incredibly polite and professional. The Chicken Boti and Falooda was off the charts. Highly recommend this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
Overall all the food tastes awful. The Chicken Shawarma Roll was soggy, The Hunter Beef roll was good in taste but again soggy. Chicken biryani want even tasted as biryani and just one big piece of chicken. The chicken Khorma was super spicy and 5 pieces of chicken. The Chicken Curry was just plain awful no taste at all. The only thing that was good at this place was Beef Burger. I would never order food from this restaurant again. Plus it's super pricey for awful tasting food.

The sandwiches at this restaurant are incredible! The kids are huge fans of the Hunter beef sandwich, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoy the Bihari kebabs.

Probably the worst chicken shawarma I have ever had and I have had many. The meat was like canned chicken. I think they used a flour tortilla as the wrapper and it was like a very wet burrito. I had been wanting to try a local shawarma and am extremely disappointed. Save yourself and go elsewhere.
I stopped here for lunch and I'm sorry I did. I ordered a chicken schwarma sandwich which was disgusting. The filling was this dry chalky mess with no real flavor. The tomatoes and cucumbers were too big for the sandwich. The kicker was the huge glob of French dressing overpowering the whole thing. Definitely not the flavor I would expect with Middle Eastern food. To top it all off,, when I took a bite, the sandwich fell apart and all the fillings spilled out of it. I ordered this to go and there were no napkins or utensils in the bag so, I was left trying to eat this mess with my hands. I didn't end up finishing it because it was too messy and gross. The one star is for falafel which was good.
Came here and they didn’t have half of the menu. I asked for several items and they said “we don’t have that”. I asked for a falooda and the owner said “sir just sit down and we will bring you your food” which was weird but I think he misunderstood me asking for a falooda for “where’s my food”. Regardless, another worker heard what I said and told me they don’t have that either.Any time I come they say the food is going to take half an hour so that’s inconvenient but at least it will be fresh. Unfortunately one of the few things they had on the menu ended up being dry which made it hard to digest and I ended up paying a lot for it but I did get a lot of portions. Taste was OK — it wasn’t bad nor amazing.Overall I would not recommend coming here unless you don’t mind waiting 30 minutes for your food. Just don’t expect nothing more than average quality. I probably won’t come back.
The food here is amazing, and the owner is delightful too. This is a charming family-run restaurant. My wife and I used to go to Thumka down the street quite often, but now this place has become our new favorite. We've only been a few times, but we definitely intend to come back more regularly.
