Was Raina Zemlak at Algonquin Mexican a mag?
I tried this for the first time tonight with my S/O, it was our anniversary and we wanted to go for dinner, but nothing too expensive. We ordered two dinners a chorizo burrito and 4 steak tacos, as well as soda and elotes. The sum came to less than $15 for each of us. The portions were HUGE, the meat was very well seasoned, the salses were delicious, and the elots were incredible. The man who took our order at the co... View all feedback.
What Erika Niemiec dislikes about Algonquin Mexican:
My family decided to try this place out tonight hoping for authentic Mexican food. We were sadly disappointed. This has to be possibly one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The food was flavorless! Nothing, no spices, bland. I had a steak burrito dinner and they gave you the tiniest serving of beans and they were luke warm at best. My husband had corn tortilla tacos and they were super soggy. We dined in... View all feedback.

I ordered several chicken tacos, and they were pretty good, but the chicken itself was quite bland—lacked any seasoning. I went home and added my own touches, and then they were really enjoyable!
This place is one of the best hidden gems in the area! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly!
This is one of my favorite restaurants! Juan and the staff are incredibly friendly. Be sure to try their complimentary sauces; they are homemade and absolutely delicious (though a bit spicy)! The food is fantastic and very affordable. We took advantage of their great "buy 2, get 1 free" taco deal today (Tuesday). Definitely give it a try!

Wonderful Mexican cuisine! This charming local restaurant is run by friendly Mexican owners who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Thank you.
Great place. Very friendly staff and very good food. One of the best Mexican restaurants you'll find in the surrounding areas. Their alambre tacos are delicious. Guac is always on point. Highly recommend I made an order for a vegan burrito. They also have vegetarian options.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today. My friend recommended trying the Gordita, and it turned out to be a filling meal on its own. I also ordered a chicken taco with corn, prepared in the street taco style. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The place is great for a quick lunch, with a cozy yet spacious taqueria vibe.
The food was outstanding. I ordered the Burrito al Pastor, while my wife had the Veggie Huarache. The guacamole was excellent, although we needed to sprinkle on some salt. The rice and beans are vegetarian-friendly. The burrito was generous in size, packed with flavor, and had a nice toasted finish on the tortilla. My wife, who is vegan, absolutely loved the Huarache. The service was incredibly friendly and prompt. By the time we left, there was just one other couple in the restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
