Elaine's American Bistro offers a menu of American contemporary cuisine made in-house using traditional methods. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our wine selection includes a variety of wines from California, Washington State, Oregon, France, and Italy. Our executive chefs, both graduates of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, bring their experience from top restaurants across America to create a unique dining experience in Albuquerque.

We arrived at the restaurant at 5 PM on Saturday, only to find the doors closed and nobody inside. I used to love this place, but it now feels like it's gone downhill.
We have had some great dinners at Elaine's. This evening we had tickets to a show at Popejoy, and they were overwhelmed by customers who were also going to the show. We sat for almost an hour and did not even receive our salad, so we left. I would definitely consider having dinner here again, but certainly not on a busy night where we had plans afterwards. The ratings for food are from previous visits, since we did not eat this visit.
The service was friendly, and both the waitstaff and chef had a great attitude. It’s an excellent value for the quality of the meal served.
Our dinner was excellent we started with mussels which were in a fantastic sauce in which I couldn't stop sopping up my bread. I had the hanger steak and frites outstanding! The meat was tender, the spinach was very fresh, and the frites were divine. My husband had the halibut which he said was equally excellent. Elaine's new chef is a gem! I highly recommend this restaurant.
