The sa... read more I know getting people to actually do their job is tough and this Denny's is no exception. We ordered a regular cobb salad and a sizzling chicken skillet. The salad was brought with chicken on it and no dressing. We waited, our server didn't come back.Hubby finally flagged her down and she brought two tiny containers of dressing. We ate some salad but the chicken skillet nevercame and neither did our server. He finally got up, went to the counter where 3 employees were chatting and inquired about theskillet and asked for more dressing. Neither came but we did see the server on her phone 2x. We got the manager as she walkedby; a minute later we got the dressing, still no skillet. Several minutes later, it arrived, with the plate hot but not thechicken. When the bill arrived, we were charged for adding chicken to the salad. I can't even say this fiasco was due to therestaurant being busy but it wasn't; this was just bad service. The friendly manager is the only reason this Denny's got 4stars.

They had a full staff, too, which is definitely more than a lot of places these days. Came at 2:30 in theafternoon. Server was Vanessa.
