Crown Room - Albuquerque

The food was delicious. There was only one server due to labor shortage but she was great. My only complaint is that the Wine By The Glass selection was dismal.

Our table was wobbly. Our waitress had never waited tables before, hardly knew anything about didn't seem to be getting any direction from other staff. Once she found out we wanted water, she check if she could refill often. However, she brought courses within min, not giving us any time to eat. We did try to help her along very politely, yet she was clearly annoyed by normal requests. (Please don't put a food court server in a venue ever again! We left her a nice tip and thanked her for trying so hard.

Weird place. Food was good and service was solid. Nice wine list. Strange place to go if you don't gamble.

Terrific dinner couldn't ask for better. I ordered Filet Mignon which was cooked exactly the way I like it. Medium tender and juicy. The triple cheese au gratin potatoes were over the top, delicious and full of flavor. Vegetable medley was beautiful in it's presentation and cooked just right. Atmosphere was perfect, soft music in the background and dimmed lighting to create the mood. Definitely recommend the Crown Room to family and friends.
