O'Ba-San Sushi Takeaway - Albany

Delicious! I just ordered the number 6 combo noodles. It had plenty of meat and prawns, was a great value, and tasted fantastic. Thank you!

The sushi or nori roll) options here are very western and sometimes don't seem very fresh or can also be a little bland. Fresh made meals like the teriyaki chicken or tofu boxes are actually quite excellent. The chicken tofu) is cooked to order, arriving to you hot and fresh. Even the salad in the box has a lovely dressing of sesame mayo. The rice is well cooked too. The teriyaki flavour can be a bit rich and get too much, but the salad and rice tones it down. Be aware that you will need to wait for the cook to order food, allow 10 15 mins, it's worth the wait. The service here will be varying, not rude or unplesant, but not friendly either. In school holidays you will likely be served by a child. This place adjoins the noodle bar either within that kitchen or this one, on two seperate occaisions I have heard a man shouting and people arguing with each other, this makes customers feel uncomfortable. So, choose what you order, ignore the conflict and you should enjoy your meal.

We eat from O'ba San often, and this time in particular there was plenty of choices and the sushi was nice and fresh. Consistent quality not outstanding, but you know what you are getting. Filling and healthier than most take away options.

The meal was ok the service was ok. We were served by a child who didnt give the correct change, but all and all not bad, wouldnt go for a nice meal or take friends, but would grab a quick lunch there.
