Vancouver Street Cafe - Albany

Love this cafe, we were in Albany for 5 days and had two breakfasts and an afternoon coffee and cake here during our stay. Both breakfasts were great and very filling, especially the corn fritters. Meals took a little while to arrive but we knew that would be the case as they are low on staff and training new members which they told us about as we were ordering so it wasn’t an issue. Best coffee in Albany IMO. the cakes we had were also brilliant with a great range of options, lumberjack cake was top notch and muffins were awesome. Hope the place continues to thrive as it’s location away from the main tourism strips makes it worth the visit for the peace and quiet and not having people walking by staring at your food.

We had the Turkish toasties. The vegetarian toasties was particularly nice. The food was fast and the staff friendly. Would recommend

Great spot for breakfast brunch lunch in Albany. The cafe itself feels like an old house, a real warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. Variety of options available with a specials board, and a cabinet full of baked goods. I had the scrambled egg special. Great coffee too.

I had lunch here today what a beautiful welcoming cafe. Food was amazing, huge portions . Service great, tables cleaned straight away. Menu is all cafe food including Fish and chips, wraps Etc hot presented beautifully. This place is a real gem. The Lemon Meringue is to die for.

We loved our breakfast and enjoyed the happy, special welcome from staff. We’d highly recommend Vancouver Street Cafe to everyone.
