Was here 6 years ago. Was here in June for Albany around the Houses. Sad to see they no longer do breakfast. Their eggs benedict was the bomb. Love this place. So central and beautiful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Liberte:
Went for a lunch to say goodbye to a co-worker, food was served quickly but that's the only nice thing I have to say. I ordered a serve of the Wok fried seasonal vegies for $12 which was essentially a sugar bowl full of oil soaked warm leafy vegies with an inch of oil in the bottom. I absolutely adore this restaurant! The chili garlic crab noodles and loaded fries are incredibly tasty, and the pink galah cocktail is exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.
At first glance, the outside of Liberte may not seem impressive. Located just around the corner from where I was staying in Albany, I had passed by it numerous times without giving it much thought, assuming it was just a typical pub. However, upon closer inspection, I discovered a beautifully decorated French-style dining room with an exceptional menu. My meal at Liberte was one of the highlights of my six-night stay in Albany.
This restaurant was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The food was fantastic and clearly prepared with care and passion by the chef. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the setting was quirky and charming. Don't forget to take your leftover crab noodles home for a delicious breakfast in bed! They also have a great selection of wines and cocktails. A must-visit if you're in Albany.
Cool restaurant, great service, delicious food to share and some awesome wines! Had a wonderful lunch there!
Loaded fries for the Gods. Wonderful staff that made the experience even more welcoming.
