I would not recommend... read more We've eaten here a couple of times, and although we generally like the food, the last time we were here was not up to the usual standards. I would not recommend the fish and chips, and the batter is very thick and almost no fish. The fries were good. The Garlic Cheese Bread for an appetizer was delicious. And the steak dinner was just okay, nothing too special there. We go to Applebee's for the reasonable prices, we don't expect anything fancy. They do put on a lovely homecooked type meal, so I recommend them on the whole.Just stay away from the fish and chips, this is the first time we found something we didn't really enjoy.We also ordered the molten lava cake for dessert, but it was overcooked, the centre was solid cake. Still delicious though.
