What Sara Barros doesn't like about Joe Allen Pit Bar-B-Q:
I was the first week last, and that was terrible! the brot was hard, the mais was old, the steak was $30 grisly very hard and hard to eat (I ate the half of it) but what it was shed for me was the baked kartoffel so over boiled and so nasty I couldn't eat it! I will never go back! the pictures do not show you quite, but it was like rubber! View all feedback. What Marcelo Zboncak likes about Joe Allen Pit Bar-B-Q:
although this is a grill place, but they really have one of the best ribeye steak in Texas. the steak is tasteful and juicy without putting any sauces. they order the steak through customs instead of ounces here. really recommend ordering 2 '' steak and sharing with another person. my friends order 3/4 ' and 1/3 ' steak but my got the perfect medium. the fried twill and okra is also good. this place really recommend... read moreLocated in Texas, this BBQ restaurant has a lot to offer. With a great service and nice atmosphere, the menu includes options like ribs, chopped brisket, and sausage. While some dishes like the brisket and potato salad were praised, others like the green beans and sausage left much to be desired. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant is known for serving one of the best ribeye steaks in the state, flavorful and juicy without sauces. Additionally, the portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the money. Whether you're in the mood for BBQ or a delicious steak, this place is worth a visit if you're in the Abilene area.
