Was Tammy R Walker at Mark's East Side a mag?
The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was very relaxing! Our server was fantastic, but I didn’t appreciate the "eat and move on" attitude. They were definitely attentive, but hearing "we really need this table" wasn’t pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience, but that aspect could use some improvement. View all feedback.
What Denise Meiselwitz dislikes about Mark's East Side:
Had the Lake Perch and it was terribly fishy smelling and tasted nasty. Fish was greasy, fries were undercooked and the German Potato Salad was pathetic, overpowering taste of vinegar. Use apple cider vinegar! The coleslaw was weird tasting. Overly priced and not worth going back. View all feedback.
One of my favorite places to eat is this restaurant; everything there is fantastic! I've been going there for a very long time.
The broiled haddock was outstanding, along with the German potato salad and clam chowder!
Excellent dining experience. Started off with some apps. Bavarian scotch egg, Wisconsin cheese curds and Calamari. Very different. No complaints here. I kept it simple and ordered a 16 ribeye, medium well. Came with salad. The only thing special about it was the dressing. It was a hot bacon drizzle. Absolutely delicious. Not exactly what you would think. Very bacony and very sweet. Really brings the salad to life when you mix it thoroughly. As far as the steak goes...... You seen one, you've seen em all. It was good. Good flavor, cooked well, tenderish and very filling with little fat. Definitely be back to try something different. Tried a German Manhattan....it was alright.
