Was Goblin Goblin at Blasenberg a mag?
The food is very delicate and the cuisine is impressive. The staff is very friendly, quick, attentive and you can still have a short chat. In terms of price, the restaurant is definitely worth looking at as the quality of the food is very good and the price is very fair. A short trip to Blaseberg is worth it for everyone. What Jamesfood dislikes about Blasenberg:
We came Blasenberg to celebrate the 40est birthday of a friend. We were a group of around 25 people with kids and all had the roasted chicken with salad, fries and risotto. My dessert was a coupe Denmark. The food was good, we also had the house speciality, but the service was rude and unfriendly. A pity for such a beautiful restaurant at the perfect location! I can only recommend the whole concept and if you plan enough time and stay at the table, you can marvel at the unbeatable natural wonder of the most beautiful sunset in Switzerland. I would like to thank the entire Blaseberg team for this wonderful evening, we will definitely be back.
It was a wonderful experience, the food is really recommended and the staff/service couldn't be better. Very friendly, attentive and humorous. We felt like family. We'll definitely come back. Simone and Emmanuel

It was opened on the last day of the year as well. Their hospitality was great.
Very beautiful location. Very interesting traditional Swiss house. Good menu. The location is very good for persons walking up and down Zugerberg. Love to come there.
Restaurant with a beautiful view, so a big plus if you can sit outside. The food selection was rather small but that doesn't have to be a bad thing, since what they offer they do well. I especially liked the salads: fresh and with a tasty dressing.
Fantastic food, especially taps, which must be reserved in advance. Great service and the few are spectacular. Recommended to book because I don't have the only one who loves it.

Wonderful location easily accessible via car, bike or a gentle hike from Zug. This is a family run establishment which is extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu is interesting with an emphasis on local produce and one of their specialities is their cockerel roasted to perfection and served whole allowing you to carve as you wish, ideal!
A enjoyable place after or during a hike, but also accessible by car. Lovely but simple restaurant at a great viewpoint over Zug, Cham, Rotkreuz up to the bernese alps. Small menu carte, mostly bbq with homemade desserts. Very fiendly staff/service. Playground for kids.
Excellent food. They keep their own animals next to the restaurant. Nothing fancy just excellent and honest food. Always worth a visit!
The only reason to go up to Blasenger reastaurant is the sun. I have never experienced a less friendly place. not a smile, not a word, not a welcoming attitude from the workers. a tipp: don't ever order an espresso. They will bring you a sort of dirty water which tastes like dirty water.
The Blasenberg is one of the most traditional restaurants in Zug, The house special is the Capon from their local farm, served with delicious risotto and crispy fries. However, they also have a very good à la carte menu in case someone does not like chicken. My mom had lamb (also from the local farm) which was excellent. Important to note is that the Capon needs to be ordered 1 day in advance and is only served inside the restaurant and not on the terrace. As the weather was beautiful and sunny we moved outside for desserts so that we could enjoy the beautiful views over the city of Zug. If you don't like the steep drive up the Zugerberg side, then take the easier way via Allenwinden.
