Worth to visit this restaurant, excellent cooking skill, not showing off but enhancing the taste and surprising the customers for many possibilities. That's what you will appreciate to dine in a Michelin 2 stars fine dining restaurant. The only thing I didn't like much was the dessert, it could be better. View all feedback.
I liked best the excellent service and the formal but relaxed atmosphere, but even more (much much more) the unforgettable masterpieces the kitchen served to the table. The tastes, ahhhh what tastes. Most exquisite!
Were here for the second time. First time was a few years ago and werent blown away. Second time was amazing. One of the most refined dinners we had. Service and food impeccable. No wonder this is considered one of the best restaurants in...Switzerland. As a plus, you will see the Dolder Grand Hotel which is a wonderful property overlooking the city. Prices are high but commensurate with the level of quality in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Will definitely return for special occasions or when foodie friends from abroad are in town.
Who really starved is here of course wrong, it is - typical gourmet - about the pure pleasure and the pretty representation on the tellers, which is also very successful. qualitatiw was eating very fine. the many small amuse-bouche were a joyful of the sea, fancy and a pretty idea. the service was attentive. Too bad, there is no à la carte, but you can only choose between 2 preset menus. I am aware that this is probably the desired presentation of chef Koch heiko, but I would like to note this point. which has really disturbed us: there is no need for a clothing style. we found it very unpleasant and inappropriate to eat between T-shirts and flip flops our 700 chf menu. 18 Gault Millau points, 2 Michelin stars and beach look are just contradictory. that loved my family and I earlier - to celebrate the luxurious "eat go" and to be dressed accordingly (it still correctly gives up a dress order in restaurants in dubai or a few.) maybe they can let the old knigge revive in the dolder, which would be appropriate to the house. thanks for the beautiful evening with them. grussian from paris
The restaurant stands for fine dining in hotel dolder grand. in general, this relaxed perfection is noticeable in the dolder, which makes large houses. The location over the roofs of zürich also contributes to this. The restaurant presents itself in the elegance with a great backing, with pleasantly generous table spacings. The journey through the kitchen of the in the truest sense of the excellent chef heiko low begins with a surprise. the sweetness to the refreshment of the hands is “served” as a court – only after the addition of liquid – just as with a sosse – it unfolds in the deep plateer. exciting and exceptional. The composition of the tasting menu changes depending on the season and so we were surprised that the menu was no longer the same as a day before on the website. this is only mentioned at the rande – this certainly has not been a break in the overall experience – because this was at the expected high level. The courses are presented as lovingly created miniatures and well explained by the very friendly staff. tastefully all creations were excellent and balanced in themselves as well as in succession, no dish very sour or very sharp or otherwise extreme. I would like to make the question open, however, whether a more concise, at least once, could not have been enough to be advantageous. The tasteful properties of the products used, in spite of some minimal use (dripping), harmonized very well. the pairing of the very matching weine with always unusually different character was perfect. everything was beautifully presented. you don't forget that fast.It was an extraordinary evening for us. thanks to the chef, his brigarde and the friendly service. very relaxing also the informal yet high-class environment and atmosphere. no question of one of the best restaurants in zürich – if not the best. For special occasions you can also see the very respectable obulus that you have to be prepared for such an experience.
On a hot summer day out on the terrace. the reception by the service staff is of selected courtesy. the entrance with a series of small vegetarian amuse bulges is excellent - this will turn out for us as a highlight of the evening. we are not completely convinced of the 8-speed menu: only the half of the walks has really tasted us well, and the portions are very small. without the fine brot that is given at the beginning, we would probably be with starving in the bed. very well looked after by the service staff. we also have a very nice impression from the one who inquired about the well-being before dessert.
