Doch das Cordon-Bleu mit Pommes war auch hervorragend. Beim Bürgli füllt man sich wie zu Hause.

It is located in a quiet corner in Zurich-Wollishofen and in summer the terrace is an added bonus, with great views of the lake and under shady trees. We never go wrong in coming here and our favorite dish is the entrecote with french fries and a special sauce, worth every calorie! The staff are super friendly and make every guest feel special and welcome.

We arrived on time, had to wait 20 minutes before getting our table and everything was quite slow as the terrace was full. The manager and waiters were very nice and that kind of saved the first wrong feeling. The food was good, nothing exceptional (but this is normal considering how many clients they have to handle in one service). My overall impression is that in the summertime there should be less tables, less close to each other. The summer setting looks like a brasserie al fresco. If you are looking for crowd, decent food (do not expect anything out of the ordinary) and are not in a hurry then why not? Not recommended for a romantic dinner though

The menu consists of a soup, salad, main course and mineral water for a very reasonable price and the quality is great! The owners are very friendly and we'll go back for sure!
