The service was pleasant, and the food excellent.

But not in keeping with the prices.Wine: On our request for a non acidic, light white, the waiter recommended Chardonnay which (opinion of 5 pax) was very acidic.The one he served me as a "full body, rather heavy red" did not come up with his description either.It was my birthday dinner, as mentioned several times placing the reservation.Whereever I used to spend this special eve in the past few years, there used to be special decoration, congratulations from the staff and sometimes even a little dessert or something on the house.I have to mention it again: The prices at Bürgli would let you expect such service. But they managed to not even congratulate me, not even after my friends sang "happy birthday"Won't visit again until they improve food/service quality or lower the prices.
