We decided to go to Zings... read more My wife, my brother and sister-in-law visited Barth near Stalag Luft One, where my father was POW for nine months during World War II. We decided to go to Zingst for dinner and looked for a good seafood restaurant and reviewed Trip Advisor, which we always do when from the city. We stopped at Skipper who had good reviews and both indoor and outdoor seats. We came at 6:30 and went in and saw the greeting and said we had a party of 4. She said NO, in a very rude voice. She offered no other explanation or if seats were available. There were tables that we could see both inside and outside the restaurant. We were all shocked by their bloating. We were not sure whether the treatment we have received, because we speak English rather than German. In any case, it left a bad taste in our mouth and we went back to Barth, where we enjoy a very nice seafood dinner. I have written over 130 reviews on TripAdvisor and have rarely given a bad review of a restaurant, and certainly never given a review with only 1/5, but this restaurant is certainly appreciated this review.

When we entered the front door, a female employee shook his head at the door and only said the word, no, without explanation when we asked if we could sit four for dinner. That was enough for us, so we turned around and left. Even though we had no reservations, we noticed that there were many tables available inside and outside. The female employee was rude. She didn't leave us any options to turn around and eat elsewhere.
