we do not come to the first and certainly not to eat the last time in the continental(!: this is as always super fine and freshly prepared. the service is also very friendly and pleasant. View all feedback.

a mistake we made during our trip. the place and the menu seemed pretty, but promise were not honored. we could expect decent food, but that was not the case here. the risotto was much too salty and the Cep-Ravioli swimming in the oil. it was not possible to finish the meal. the service was not particularly bad, but it was not enough to compensate for the disappointment. dishes were around View all feedback.
The restaurant is located in a side street near the center of the village of Zermatt, in the souterrain of the homonymous hotel. every day an extensive daily menu is offered at a reasonable price. for guests with smaller appetit also in the reduced version with salatbuffet (very rich with more than 15 sorts, shrimps etc) and the daily dish for less than 30 francs. the restaurant was well visited. ideal for guests who come to eat a decent food and not because of ambiente, view or see-and-see.

A perfect salat buffet stood next to the main course. only because of the selection from buffalo mozzarella, nuts, sweets and various salads is worth visiting.
Last night we tried this new hidden restaurant. we were overcrowded by the situation, because it was to find "difficult", in a basic man. the natives were ok, typical Asian style. the service was amazing, our waiter was a young English guy. the wine list... and dessert list was ok. eating was really good, authentic Asian food. these prices were oldså ok. I'll settle this place very well.
While we are looking down to a cheap dinner that is not easy to put in disguise, we finally decided to stop at the continental. the access to the dinning room is a little ancient and the room itself is not the most beautiful design, but the...staff is extremely beautiful and professional, the menu card has a good choice with a fantastic buffet. the main dishes are of the best quality through ingredients, cooking, taste, presentation and also quantity. When it comes to billing, we are still on Swiss standards, but not on the local demolition. a very good table, for which I have nothing wrong to say. cordial gratitude to the Continental team. go there and you won't be disappointed.
