I stopped by for a coffee this afternoon and was quite disappointed. The place was bustling with customers, and a young girl was doing her best to serve everyone. However, the manager was present, seemingly ignoring the customers while rearranging the display shelves, leaving everyone waiting. Not a very good experience, never ever buy the Burgers, they are the most terrible I've had. Also the lady serving customers was very rude and I am wondering where her black glove has been other than touching food ? Filthy, No idea on food handling. I am never going there again, I think over the road looked nicer.
Popped in for a loaf of bread BUT, came out with a Lemon Curd Roll Cake with cream $9, a pack of 4 assorted donuts $6.50, 2 small pizzas $6, and yes, a loaf of bread . All very tasty! Very popular place too.
They have a very friendly staff. if I have to be back in york, I would definitely visit her.
Great coffee, sausage roll and pastie were super good. Actually best coffee on trip.
I don’t know what it is about the Vietnamese but I’ve yet to find a disappointing Viet owned one. Not fancy just a typical country cafe setup but the baked goods are all great. Great pies. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
