Nguyen Bakery Cafe - York

Went on a motorcycle ride with a mate to York and stopped at Nguyen Bakery for lunch.After walking along Avon Terrace, the bakery looked appealing, there were many customers in and outside and the entire bakery was fully stocked with an assortment of food. Pies, pasties, sausage rolls, salad rolls, wraps and an astonishing variety of cakes available.The Bakery had that old fashion smell of baked bread and pies, all of which were well presented and were very well priced. The staff were polite and helpful.I purchased a pie and a chicken and salad roll both were tasty and contained good servings.I would definitely return, I consider myself to be a bakery buff.I highly recommend this establishment

Eat here every time I visit York. Never miss. Highly recommend it. Love the pies. Lots of choices The cakes are to die for. Also have drinks and fresh bread.

Most towns you travel through have a bakery available for a tasty quick bite. Had a couple of sausage rolls here and they still tasted fresh late in the afternoon. Sat outside and watched the world go by. Nice.

Great range of foods from pies, pasties, cakes etc - toasted sandwiches, wraps, rolls etc. We went for breakfast and i had a breakfast wrap and hubbie a bacon and egg toasty. Very tasty and good value for money. You can sit inside or out and the staff member was very friendly.

This was our last stop before leaving town, so we grabbed some food for the road. We glad of our choice, everything we had was delicious and the selection in the shop was more than plenty. If you like your bakeries then try this one when you are in town.
