We w... read more The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food and a perfect location. The staff was friendly and the portions were generous. We went around 9 o'clock on a Sunday with the family and the happy hour was a great bonus.

Still good. we visited here a lot when we lived in york, both the “old place” and the newer ones where he is still today. when I was hoping that it was still go... read more Still good. we visited here a lot when we lived in york, both the “old place” and the newer ones where he is still today. when I was hoping that it was still good, I went to lunch with the family shopping and wandering around the city. Despite the school holidays and in the regular busy in all york we were happy enough to get a table without waiting. still the same old menu as I remember what is not bad! we had all the burgers, the portions are still as large as they were visiting the last, still as delicious as I remember. the service was good, all were very full!

There was a mix up with our table and the staff could not have been more accommodating, sorting us out with drinks and even making space for an extra guest. The food as always was excellent, great choice, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere.
