La Grotta - Yonkers

This was our first visit to LA Grotta, which we discovered through a Groupon deal (although they did not accept it). Nevertheless, we enjoyed the delicious food and the welcoming, quiet atmosphere that allowed for pleasant conversation. We will definitely be back to dine here again.

It seems that there was a party happening downstairs because the floor was shaking and the noise was too loud at times. The food was average at best, and the service was inconsistent. I tried to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt because it was a local establishment that I wanted to support, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations.

Eating at La Grotta feels like returning home. The owners are very welcoming and the food is always delicious. This time, there were four of us dining. We ordered and enjoyed veal, pasta, steak, and a seafood special. It's definitely worth the trip, although we don't have to go far. Yum!

We had a Groupon so we went for an anniversary celebration. The food as usual was outstanding. Service was pretty good, but the waitress' attitude was a bit irritating. We will definitely be back again!

Had an early dinner on a weeknight; therefore, the bar was empty and few tables eating dinner. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Would definitely dine there again.
