Charming roadside stand literally right off the main road on the way to Hopewell Rocks.
This is probably one of the best restaurants in the whole SW. It's only open on Saturday nights and you have to book. It's a set menu and a set price. Sophie Zalokar is an amazing chef and goes to extremes to promote all the different foods we have available down here. Absolutely worth a visit. It's pricey, but you will not be disappointed- and it's byo so you are not paying for drinks.
Enjoyed their monthly dinner highlighting the seasonal produce. I love cherries even more now. Would recommend Foragers to anyone who enjoys great food.
One of the highlights of our travels around the south-east corner of WA was dinner at Foragers, where Sophie prepared and delivered a superb five course meal. Seating is at a "long table" which gave us the opportunity to meet some interesting people, while we enjoyed asparagus soup, lamb shoulder and buttermilk pudding, all presented beautifully and served with interesting additions, some of which we had never tried before (Cardoons?, Labna?, Panisse?). Towards the end of the meal, Sophie gave us a description of the ingredients and the interesting local source of many of the products used. BYO and highly recommended for a visit before they sell the property.
