Red Relish Cafe - Yarra Junction

What looks unassuming and could almost be missed from the outside really hit the spot for me on a cold winter's day. The selection of cakes all look incredible- I tried the vanilla slice, cheescake and carrot cake. Portion sizes were large and the cakes did not disappoint. I also tried the vegetarian quiche and the open pumpkin and ricotta pie. Both were delightful and flavoursome- in fact everything in the savoury pastry cabinet looked incredible and I had a very difficult time deciding what to try. Only downside would be it didn't feel very homely inside- perhaps the style of table and chairs, and coffee was fairly ordinary. However on the upside service was friendly and prices were quite reasonable. Overall a good experience and would definately return. <br/ <br/

Great little cafe with all home cooked food. Servings are generous and tasty. We've now had several meals (mostly lunches) there and we really like it. My partner is vegan and it is no trouble for them to alter their dishes to accommodate her needs. A gem of a cafe, terrific food, with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Had the best hot chocolate I can remember. The pies looked awesome, will be back for one of those. Looked quiet on the outside but was nearly full on the inside. Great find.

Great Little Cafe. An excellent cafe offering a lovely variety of foods. Quality offerings and friendly staff.Due to the popularity can be quite busy at lunchtimes so arrive early to ensure a table.
